Our Philanthropy
A letter from the Greek Week Co-Leads!
Greek Week reminds us that the true impact comes not from what we can do individually, but from what our Greek community can accomplish together. Each year, all four councils in our community come together to build a house in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. We take pride in fundraising, educating, and collaborating to build the house from the ground up. This year, we are honored to build LSU Greek Life’s 40th house! Greek Week 2026 will take place March 21-28.
Seeing firsthand the difference Habitat for Humanity makes in the Baton Rouge community and having the opportunity to serve in such a meaningful leadership role is truly a blessing. Over the past four years, Baton Rouge has grown from our college town into a true second home for us. Baton Rouge has welcomed us with open arms, supported us, and shaped who we are becoming. Being part of the Greek Build is about more than completing a project; it’s about honoring the community that has given us so much and continuing a tradition of unity, leadership, and service.

Our Impact
Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing around the world. In the Greater Baton Rouge community, each home is built in collaboration with a local family in need. This year’s home marks the 40th house constructed by LSU Greek Life, a milestone we are incredibly proud of. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community in such a meaningful way. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity!
