A letter from the VP of recruitment:

Hi! I am Molly, and I am honored to serve as the Vice President of Recruitment for LSU Panhellenic.
I am so happy that you have decided to participate in Fall Primary Recruitment. I remember exactly how I felt to be in your shoes just three years ago—excited, nervous, and even unsure at some moments. But I can confidently say that without hesitation, being a member of LSU Panhellenic has been the best decision I have ever made! Although you might be unsure in this very moment, you will be forever grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! LSU Panhellenic has shaped me into the woman I am today, and I hope that today, tomorrow, or three years from now, you will also find that to be true.

Participating in something that is new and challenging can be so overwhelming, especially when you are not exactly sure what to expect. While I was a PNM, looking through Girl Talk provided me with so many helpful tips and tricks while going through the recruitment process. From information about what outfits to wear, to what to talk about in each round, and even what to put in my PNM bag was all in Girl Talk. This helped me ease my mind into what was to come and was an incredible resource. There are also sections about each chapter, with notes from the presidents, chapter financials, and other information such as their philanthropy, colors, and mascot! Overall, Girl Talk is an amazing resource that will help you before and during the recruitment process, so make sure to utilize it during times of uncertainty!

Recruitment can be an overwhelming process when trying to curate the most perfect outfit and making sure your makeup looks just right. It can be hard to remember that each chapter wants to know your heart and who you are. They want to know your biggest dreams, what you value in friendships, and everything in between. Each home you step into will be filled with authentic and kind women who will be your loudest cheerleaders, biggest supporters, and best friends. Remember to stay true to who you are and what you value. This process is about YOU and what YOU want! My biggest piece of advice is to stay true to who you are, and your forever home will find you.

Becoming a member of the Panhellenic community at LSU is the opportunity of a lifetime. Not only will you find a group of sisters in your own chapter, you will find a community of women that you can lean on during the hard days, learn from in the classroom, and create lifelong memories with. Although each chapter has their own letters, we are all a part of an amazing community of women who all have more in common than apart. Every day, I am inspired by the women in this community and how they impact LSU, Baton Rouge, and the world around us. The women I have met support my accomplishments, pick me up when I am down, and encourage me to be the best woman I can be. I am so excited for each and every one of you to jumpstart your collegiate experience and the memories that you will create. I can’t wait to see you all experience all the amazing things that so many Panhellenic women have experienced, and I am forever indebted to the opportunities and growth this group of women has given me. I can’t wait for you all to experience it too! I know that each and every one of you will bring new perspectives and fantastic skills to your chapter and community that will inspire women for years to come. I cannot wait to see the impact you will all have! See y’all on the Row!
