Frequently Asked Questions

When is Recruitment taking place?

The first round of Recruitment is on Monday, August 18th and will end on Sunday, August 24th! It will not interfere with any of LSU’s Welcome Week activities or events!

When does registration open?

Registration is now open and will close on August 4th!!

What do I need to register?

To register for the 2025 Fall Primary Recruitment, you will need a resume (we recommend using the templates on Canva!), headshot/picture, and your PNM Video link if you choose to submit one. You will also need a form of payment to submit your $150 registration fee. 

What does my registration fee pay for?

Your registration fee helps to cover the cost of Recruitment operations. With your registration fee you will receive one Philanthropy Round t-shirt, a tote bag, access to vendors down the Row during Recruitment, and a few goodies to help you get through the week!

What is the PNM Video?

The PNM Video is an optional 1 minute video that you can submit as part of your registration to give our chapters an additional opportunity to get to know you! For video guidelines and upload instructions, please visit the PNM Video page.

Will I receive a confirmation email? What do I do if I don’t receive one?

Yes! You will receive a confirmation email to the email you listed on your registration. Be sure to check your personal email, LSU email, and spam folders if you cannot find it. If you cannot find your confirmation email, please email Ashlynn Simmons, the Director of Recruitment Logistics, at lsuphcrecruitmentreg@gmail.com.

Do Letters of Recommendation need to come from an LSU Alumna? Do I need to submit Letters of Recommendation before I register?

No and no! Letters of Recommendation can come from an alumnae member from a particular sorority at any university, not just LSU. While due dates for Letters of Recommendation vary from sorority to sorority, you will not need to submit any prior to registering. Can I attend Welcome Week and Recruitment?

Yes! Primary Recruitment will NOT interfere with any mandatory activities or events as required by LSU Welcome Week. All Potential New Members are expected to attend all Welcome Week activities that are required by the University.
